In many states, subsidies and loans are also being provided for the installation of solar equipment, pumps and panels. In this episode, in Jharkhand also farmers are getting loans for setting up solar power plants. Farmers can take this loan through NABARD and Canara Bank. The Jharkhand government has set a target of producing 50 MW of solar power in the first phase with this scheme. Let us inform you that so far 65 farmers have applied under this scheme.
