Get water sources constructed on 50% grant

In order to increase crop productivity, it is necessary to have a better irrigation system. However, due to financial constraints, not all farmers are able to raise the means of irrigation. In such a situation, to help the farmers, the Madhya Pradesh government is running many schemes to provide irrigation resources.

One of these schemes is ‘Integrated Horticulture Development Mission MIDH’, through which farmers can get water sources like ponds, tube wells or wells constructed on subsidy. Under the scheme, a grant is being given at the rate of Rs.125/cubic meter for making water sources in (20*20*03) meter area for personal use. According to the government, the unit cost has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand, in which a 50% grant i.e. Rs 75 thousand is being provided as a grant.

The process of applying started on 16th August 2022. Interested farmers can apply online on the official website of the state government https://mpfsts.mp.gov.in/mphd. All the information related to the scheme can also be found on this website. If you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then apply soon without delay.
