Land preparation for Ginger/Turmeric
- Land is ploughed 20 cm deep by an iron plough or tractor.
- Clods are crushed with clod crusher.
- Another crosswise ploughing is given.
- About 20 to 30 tons FYM/ha is added to the soil.
- It is mixed into soil by giving two harrowings.
- Leveling is done with the help of leveler.
