From April 1, necessary changes are going to be made in many rules by the central government. Along with these, rules have also been implemented regarding Aadhar card and PAN card. Under this, it has become necessary to link PAN card with Aadhar card. Along with this, the last date for doing this work is till March 31. If you do not do this work, then you may have to pay a fine for this.
According to the Minister of State for Finance, under Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act, linking PAN and Aadhaar number is now mandatory for all people. In such a situation, if you have not yet linked PAN card with Aadhaar, then get it done soon. If you don’t link by 31st March 2022, you may be in trouble. In such a situation, you may have to pay a fine of Rs 1000 as per the new rules of Income Tax Rules.
Along with this, if PAN is not linked with Aadhaar, there may be trouble in getting financial work done. At the same time, along with filing income tax returns, PAN is also necessary for many other works. In such a situation, it is very important for you to link your PAN card with Aadhar card today so that none of your work stops.
