Farmers of MP will get 70 thousand rupees per hectare on the cultivation of ginger and turmeric

The Horticulture Department of Madhya Pradesh has started a special scheme with the aim of promoting spice production. Under this, applications have been sought for the purpose of giving grants on the cultivation of ginger and turmeric to the farmers of the selected districts.

Through this scheme, to promote the production of root and tuber commercial crops like garlic, turmeric and ginger, 50% of the agricultural expenditure, in which the maximum amount can be up to Rs 50000, will be given to the general category farmers. Or the amount has been kept at Rs 70000 per hectare for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe farmers, which can be 70% of the agricultural expenditure.

To take advantage of this scheme, the Horticulture Department of Madhya Pradesh has invited applications from farmers for turmeric in the Shahdol district and ginger in Tikamgarh and Niwari districts. You can apply for this scheme from 23 July 2021 at http://www.mforticulture.gov.in/en.
