Now it will be easy to get the benefit of crop insurance from FGR portal

Crop insurance compensation is given by the government to the farmers to protect them from future losses. However, to get this compensation, farmers have to make many rounds of government offices. In such a situation, farmers are often deprived of this benefit due to lack of complete information. In view of this problem of farmers, Chhattisgarh government has launched a grievance redressal portal.

Through this ‘FGR Portal’, complaints of weather based crop loss insurance can be lodged sitting at home. Whose hearing will also be done online, as well as after knowing the usefulness of the given redress, it will be implemented in the whole country. Apart from this, farmers will not even need to file any kind of written complaint. Farmers can also register their complaint by calling toll free number 14447. Complaints on which immediate action will be taken. In such a situation, farmers will be able to get insurance compensation or other agriculture related solutions sitting at home without visiting any office.

Apply for crop insurance soon before this date, see complete information

The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana is being run by the Central Government to protect the farmers from future losses due to farming. Under the scheme, the notification of the crop insurance scheme for Kharif 2022 has been issued. With the help of this, the farmers will be able to compensate for the loss in future. In this sequence, the online application process has started in Madhya Pradesh and will continue till July 31.

Under this scheme, farmers can apply for urad, moong, jowar, groundnut, sesame, cotton, paddy, maize, millet and tur along with other Kharif crops. Under this scheme, along with the application form, it is necessary to attach a crop insurance proposal form, Aadhar card, identity card, land rights book and sowing certificate valid by the government.

According to the scheme, farmers can get the notified crops insured through a bank, a public service center, and a representative of the designated insurance company. At the same time, for the implementation of the scheme, the process of opening tenders has started in 11 clusters of the state. Let us inform you that the last date of the insurance application has been fixed as 31 July 2022. Farmers can avoid losses by getting their crops insured before the time runs out.

Now all farmers in MP will have Crop Insurance, Government will take a decision soon

The government of Madhya Pradesh has taken several steps for the interest of farmers in the last few days. In the same sequence, the government has also discussed that all the farmers of the state should be insured under the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme. The government can decide on this soon.

Talking to the media on this subject, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel said that “every farmer in the state will get crop insurance under the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme, the state government is going to take this decision soon.”

Significantly, there are about 65 lakh farmers in Madhya Pradesh and among them, 36 lakh farmers insure their crops. The premium for crop insurance is 12%, in which the farmer pays around 2% and the state and central government combine the remaining amount. In the coming time, due to more and more farmers joining this scheme, the premium is likely to decrease further.

Madhya Pradesh: 15 lakh farmers will get big relief, 2990 crores to be received under crop insurance

Relief for farmers, Govt. extended the duration of short-term crop loan

There is very good news from the government for farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that a total of 2990 crores of insurance amount will be given to 15 lakh farmers of the state under crop insurance.

This large amount will be given to the farmers of the state till next week. Under crop insurance, this amount will be directly delivered to the farmers’ accounts. This decision was taken during the meeting of the Department of Agriculture in the Ministry where Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Agriculture Ajit Kesari, and other officials were also present.

During the Kharif season of 2018, about 35 lakh farmers of the state had insured their crops. Now 8.40 lakh of these farmers have to get the insurance amount of 1930 crores. Apart from this, in the Rabi season of 2018-19, 25 lakh farmers of the state had insurance for Rabi crops, out of which 6.60 lakh farmers have to get an insurance amount of 1060 crore.
