Earn lakhs annually from cardamom cultivation

Spices are cultivated on a large scale in the country. One of the main spices among these spices is cardamom, through the cultivation of which farmers can earn handsomely. Cardamom is used to enhance flavour in food and beverages. This is the reason why this spice is sold readily in the market.

Cardamom is cultivated in areas that receive 1500 to 4000 mm of rainfall throughout the year. Its crop develops better at 10 to 35 degree Celsius. Also, laterite soil, loamy soil and black soil with good drainage are also good for this.

The yield of cardamom can be obtained from 135 to 150 kg per hectare by its cultivation. In such a situation, farmers can easily earn a profit of up to Rs 3 lakh annually by cultivating one hectare. Explain that the larger the area in which it is cultivated, the more the profit will increase.
