The Government of India is promoting bamboo cultivation to increase the income of farmers in the country. Many schemes are being run for more and more farmers to cultivate bamboo. In this episode, the Madhya Pradesh government is providing grants to encourage bamboo planting in the state.

Facilities provided under the scheme

The average cost per plant of bamboo has been fixed by the state government at ₹240. Under this, the government is providing a 50% subsidy per plant to the farmers. Accordingly, the farmer will be given Rs 120 per plant. Where 60% subsidy will be given by the central government and 40% by the state government. Along with this, a nodal officer will be selected in every district of the state. With the help of this people will be able to get all the information related to this scheme.
