Farmers have to face water scarcity at times while irrigating their agriculture. In such a situation, the Madhya Pradesh government is running ‘Balram Talab Yojana’ to end the problem of water in the state. Under this scheme, the objective of benefitting the farmers of the district and block level has been set.
Under this scheme, huge grants are being given to all categories of farmers for the construction of ponds and canals in the fields. Under this, a grant of 75% i.e. the maximum amount of one lakh rupees is being provided to the farmers belonging to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes. At the same time, 50% of the cost i.e. maximum amount of 80 thousand rupees is being given to the general category farmers as a grant. To take advantage of this scheme, applicants can register online from the e-Krishi Yantra Grant portal.
