Today, farming has been made very easy and profitable by using new technologies. One of these new technologies is the technology of agricultural drones, using which spraying of fertilizers and other medicines can now be done in just a few minutes. Earlier, this work used to take a whole day. More and more farmers in the country should use the technology of drones and make their farming profitable. For this purpose, the government is also giving huge subsidy on the purchase of agricultural drones. Not only this, the government is also giving training to youth and women to fly drones.
To avail the benefit of this drone subsidy scheme, ordinary farmers, custom hiring center operators, interested farmers of Farmer Producer Organization can apply on the e-Krishi Yantra Grant Portal (farmer.mpdage.org). In this scheme, along with the application, it will be mandatory to upload a demand draft of Rs 5,000 as security deposit and a valid license of the drone pilot. Let us tell you that under the scheme, small farmers, women, Scheduled Caste and Tribe farmers falling in the individual category will get 50% of the cost of the equipment as a grant with a maximum of Rs 5 lakh.
