The temperature will fall in many states in the next three days, heavy rain in South India

Due to cold winds blowing from the north, a drop in temperature will now be recorded in western Uttar Pradesh including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Southern Tamil Nadu, Southern Kerala and Lakshadweep which may cause water logging at many places. There is a possibility of snowfall once again in the mountains around Christmas.

Chances of heavy rain in South India and increase in cold in other states

A new Western Disturbance on December 23 and 24 may give good snowfall in the mountains. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Coastal Karnataka and southern Andhra Pradesh may also receive light rain. From December 18, the minimum temperature may drop again in North and Central India. There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of Rajasthan on 23 December.

Low pressure will form in the Bay of Bengal, there will be rain in many states

The cyclonic wind area formed in the Bay of Bengal can create low pressure and move towards the southeastern Arabian Sea. Due to its impact, there is a possibility of torrential rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. There is a possibility of rain in Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Central Maharashtra, South Konkan and Goa. There will be light rain in Arunachal Pradesh and East Assam. There is a possibility of snowfall once again in the mountains but snowfall will occur only on the higher mountains. The minimum temperatures in Central India including North India will be slightly below normal but due to strong sunlight during the day, there will be less feeling of cold.

The minimum temperature in Delhi was 4.9 while the minimum temperature in Shimla was 6.8. Heavy rain in Tamil Nadu is possible under the influence of a cyclonic circulation. There will be light snow and rain in the mountains on 16 and 17 December. There will be very light rain in the northeastern states, while the weather in the rest of India will remain clear for the next few days. There may be rain in South Central Maharashtra and Goa from December 17. Rain may be in some parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh from 22nd and 23rd December.

Severe cold in North India, there will be rain and snowfall here

Tuesday morning started with severe cold and fog in many states of North India including the country’s capital. The morning temperature in Delhi was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Lucknow, the capital of UP, the morning temperature was 13.8 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 6 degrees. At the same time, from 13 to 15 December, the maximum temperature can be around 23 degrees and the minimum temperature can be around 6-7 degrees.

Due to being the leader in the world in the cultivation of paddy and wheat, Indian farmers had reduced the cultivation of coarse grains. Still, its cultivation is also being promoted by the government. To spread awareness in this regard, the government declared the year 2023 as Millets Year of the Year. Now in this series, the Uttar Pradesh government will give subsidy on opening millet stores.

Through the Uttar Pradesh Millets Revitalization Programme, the state government is giving a subsidy of up to Rs 20 lakh on seed money for millets seed production, millets processing, packing cum marketing centre, millets mobile outlet and opening of millets store. To avail of this benefit, the application can be made by visiting the official portal of the Agriculture Department at www.agriculture.up.gov.in. The application process can be completed from 11 December at 12 noon to 16 December at midnight.

Due to their combined effect, many parts of Maldives including Southern Tamil Nadu, Southern Kerala and Lakshadweep may receive moderate rains along with heavy rains in some places. A new Western Disturbance has reached the mountains and due to its impact, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the high mountains till December 12. Temperatures will now fall in Central India including North India.

Farmers’ luck will shine with flower farming, government will give a 70% subsidy

For the economic empowerment of farmers, the government is greatly promoting flower farming. The Bihar government has also taken a big step in this regard. Under the National Horticulture Mission Scheme, awareness about flower cultivation is spreading among the farmers in 23 districts of Bihar state. Farmers are also being provided financial assistance by giving subsidies for flower cultivation.

Let us tell you that the state government will give a subsidy of up to 70% to the farmers for cultivating flowers. The official process of online application for this has also started. Under this, beneficiary farmers will be selected on ‘first come first serve’. Among flowers, the cost of cultivating marigolds per hectare has been fixed at Rs 40 thousand. Out of this amount, farmers will get Rs 28 thousand as a grant. The cost of cultivation of gladiolus flower on one hectare of land has been fixed at around Rs 1.07 lakh; in this, farmers will get Rs 75 thousand as a grant. Farmers wishing to take advantage of the scheme can apply on the official website horticulture.bihar.gov.in and get detailed information about the scheme.
