To get benefits under this scheme, the online application can be made on the Rooftop Gardening link made on the dashboard of horticulture.bihar.gov.in of Directorate of Finance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched the second phase of the Ujjwala scheme through video conferencing. Let us inform you that under this second phase of the Ujjwala scheme, the beneficiaries will get the first refill and hotplate free of cost. Let us inform you that under the Ujjwala scheme, the government provides LPG connections to families below the poverty line. The scheme is being run in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Under this scheme, families coming below the poverty line get the assistance of Rs.1600 for an LPG connection. This amount includes cylinder, pressure regulator, booklet, safety house etc. The customers have to buy the gas stove themselves.
