Monsoon will remain active over South India and East India including Central India. Rain will continue from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra and South India including Chhattisgarh. Light to moderate rain is possible over East Gujarat and East Rajasthan. Rain activities will continue over North India including Delhi till August 23. From August 24, the weather will start clearing once again and the direction of the winds will change to western.

Apply to become a Krishak Mitra in Madhya Pradesh

Many schemes are run by the government for the farmers, but many farmers are not able to get the benefits due to a lack of information about these schemes. To overcome this problem, the Madhya Pradesh government is going to appoint Krishak Mitra. These Krishi Mitras will provide advice and information about government schemes to the farmers related to agriculture.

The process of selection of Krishak Mitra has started again. To become Krishak Mitra, eligible farmers can apply through Rural Agricultural Extension Officer or Panchayat Secretary before August 15.

You can be eligible to become a farmer friend only if you are not in government, semi-government, non-government or any other post of profit. Apart from this, you should have agricultural land and be educated till high school. The minimum age to become a Krishi Mitra is 25 years. For this post, 30% of women farmers will be given priority.

Under this scheme, grants are given on the death of animals due to infectious diseases or unnatural causes. Under this, Rs 30000 is given on the death of a milch animal. 25000 rupees are given on the death of the animal carrying the load.

Heavy rain is expected in the North and East districts of Madhya Pradesh. More than 100 mm of rain may occur at one or two places. Torrential rains are possible in the western and central districts of Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand including Delhi. Rain will continue over Maharashtra and East Gujarat during the next 24 hours. Monsoon will remain active over East India.
