Grant will be given to compensate for crop damage caused by storm and rain

Due to the cyclonic storm and heavy rains that hit the country this year, farmers have suffered a lot in their crops. Several schemes are being run by the government to compensate for the damage caused to the crop. In this episode, now the Bihar government has decided to compensate for the crop damage caused by the storm.

Online applications have also been invited for this from the farmers of Bihar. The process of applying for this has also started. Farmers of 16 districts of the state can apply online till September 12. For the application, the farmer has to first register in DBT. Then the application is made from the registration number. If any mistake is made in the application, it can also be rectified within 48 hours.

  • Thrips and mites are both sucking insects in the chilli crop. They suck the sap of leaves and flowers of the chilli crop with their sharp mouths. As a result, the leaves turn brown at the edges, and the leaves of the affected plant appear dry and withered. The leaves curl upwards due to the sucking of thrips Whereas, due to the infestation of the mites, the leaves appear to curl down and twisted webs become visible.

  • Thrips are small and soft-bodied insects of light yellow colour, both the baby insect and adult insect of this insect damage the chilli crop. It is found in greater quantities on the upper surface of the leaves and also on the lower surface of the leaves.

  • Mites are small and red or white in colour which thrives on the lower surface of the leaves.

  • If the symptoms of these two outbreaks are seen on the same plant, then the leaves appear to be bent upwards and downwards at someplace.

  • For its control spray, Chlorfenapyr 10% SC @ 300 ml or Abamectin 1.9% EC @ 150 ml or Properzite 57% EC @ 400 ml + Fipronil 5% SC @ 400 ml or Spiromesifen 22.9% SC @ 250 ml + Spinosad 45 % SC @ 75 ml / acre.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Madhya Pradesh
