Madhya Pradesh Weather Update

The rain activities are likely to increase over the eastern and southern regions of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan, the moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea will increase the humidity. The low pressure line will move southwards from the foothills of the Himalayas, due to which moist air from the Bay of Bengal will also increase the moisture in the Gangetic plains. Heavy rains in East India and Central India, Monsoon will also gain momentum in South India. Light rain and thundershowers are possible over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.

On the Gramophone Krishi Mitra app, daily from June 9, a simple question is being asked under the ‘Gram Quiz’ competition and thousands of people are answering the questions. Under this competition, one lucky winner has been selected from among the people who give correct answers to simple questions asked from June 21 to 29.

Hot and dry westerly winds are maintaining scorching heat over North India including Delhi. There is a possibility of getting some relief in the next two days. Monsoon rains likely to start after a week. Rain likely to increase over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Telangana.
