Soybean set a record, sold at Rs 16151 per quintal in Ratlam Mandi

The arrival of new soybean has started in the agricultural markets. During the Muhurta deal in the Sailana Agricultural Produce Market of Ratlam, a farmer got a record price of soybean. These farmers are Govardhan Lal of Nandleta village who sold 4 quintals of soybean at a record rate of Rs 16151 per quintal.

However, let us tell you that at present, the normal price of soybean is running at Rs 7000 to 8000 per quintal in other agriculture mandis of Ratlam district. Although high prices are charged by the trader in the Muhurta deal at the beginning of the season, for the first time soybean has been bid at Rs 16151.

Heavy rain is expected in Mumbai including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana, East Rajasthan and Gujarat. It will rain in Karnataka but the rest of South India will be almost dry.

Farmers can apply under this and get a huge 50% subsidy on purchase of Automatic Reaper, Reaper Multicrop Thresher, Axial Flow Paddy Thresher Power Sprayer, Boom Sprayer (Tractor Driven) Winnowing Fan (Tractor/ Motor Operated). Farmers can apply online on Bhai e-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal https://dbt.mpdage.org/ to get a subsidy.

Rain will increase again in Madhya Pradesh, this time the departure of monsoon will be delayed

Rain activities are likely to continue over Central India including Rajasthan and Gujarat for the next 1 week, which is likely to delay the departure of Monsoon. Rain will continue over East Rajasthan, Gujarat and many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and West Bengal. Uttar Pradesh including Delhi may also receive rain from September 20. Monsoon will still remain weak over South India.

To ease the process of irrigation in the agriculture sector, the government gives huge subsidies on the installation of drips and sprinklers etc. under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. Through this scheme, emphasis is given to farmers on using mini and micro-irrigation systems.

On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, the subsidy is being given to the farmers of the state under the micro-irrigation system in the year 2021 and applications have been sought from the farmers for this.

These applications can be done online mode. Farmers can apply online by visiting the Department of Agriculture’s Agriculture Subsidy Tracking System https://mpfsts.mp.gov.in/mphd/#/.

Symptoms and prevention of Wilt Disease in Guava

  • In wilt disease, the leaves turn light yellow while the leaves of the top branches become curved and twisted.

  • In the later stage, the yellowed leaves discolour and fall prematurely. 

  • The plant fails to produce new leaves or flowers causing some of the twigs to bare and eventually dry up.

  • Proper sanitation in the garden can keep the disease at bay. The infected trees should be uprooted, 

  • For prevention of this disease, Trichoderma viride 5 -10 gm or Pseudomonas fluorescence 2.5 -5 gram per 5 kg of treated cow dung should be added per pitcher, while planting and 10 kg per pitcher on old plants.

  • Trichoderma viride 5 -10 gm  or Pseudomonas fluorescence 2.5 -5 gram per litre of water and drench on the plant.

  •  Make a basin around the guava plant and mix CARBENDAZIM 45% WP @ 2 gram/litre of water or COPPER OXYCHLORIDE 50% WP @ 2.5 gram/litre of water and drenching it in the basin.
