Due to the icy winds blowing from the north direction, cold winters will continue over the entire North, North West, Central and some parts of East India. There will be severe winter in Telangana including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan. Between 22 and 25 December, heavy snowfall is possible in the mountains.

  • Plants and fruits of Gram crops are used as vegetables, Therefore, it is very important to manage the nutrition in chickpea crops at the flowering stage.

  • Due to the changing weather and nutrient deficiency in the crop, there is a problem of flower drop in the Gram crop.

  • Due to excessive flower drops, fruit production is greatly affected in the Gram crop.

  • Use Micro-nutrients @ 250 gm/acre. 

  • To prevent flower drop,use Homobrassinolide @ 100 ml/acre or Paclobutrazol 40% SC @ 30 ml/acre.

  • For pest and disease control, spraying of Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG @ 100 gm + Hexaconazole 5% SC @ 400 gm/acre can be done.
