Agricultural drones got approval

The Union Budget for the financial year 2022-23 was released on Tuesday in the Parliament House. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made several announcements while presenting the budget and one of these was the decision to promote the use of drones in the agriculture sector.

The government believes that the use of drones will save the time of the farmers as well as reduce the cost of agriculture. Apart from this, many other advantages of drones are being told. It is worth noting that Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had also issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) a few days ago for the use of drones in agriculture.
