Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana

With the aim of promoting fisheries, the Government of India is running the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. This scheme will help the fishermen to learn how to use new techniques in fish farming and will increase their income.

The demand for fish is increasing in the country and abroad and in view of this, in the coming five years, the government will promote the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana in the whole country and will also spend Rs.20050 crore under this scheme. The government has set a target to double the limit for export of fish during this period.

On the basis of this registration, farmers will get the benefit of Minimum Support Price and Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana. In the registration process, the farmer will have to tell the name of the crop and the area in which the crop has been planted. On the basis of this information, farmers will get the benefit of Bhavantar Yojana for the sale of crops at MSP, compensation for crop loss due to natural calamity and lower prices.

100% subsidy on purchase of agricultural machinery

There are many farmers who are unable to buy modern agricultural machinery due to low income. These problems of the farmers of Bhadohi of Uttar Pradesh are being removed. Farmers of this district can buy agricultural machinery under the agricultural mechanization scheme and they will be given a subsidy of 40 to 100% by the government.

A portal has been opened for application under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme, through which farmers can apply online and withdraw their tokens sitting at home. Let us inform you that on the purchase of threshing floor under this scheme, 100% subsidy will be given to the farmers in relation to the fixed price of 1.70 lakhs. The subsidy will also be given to other similar machines.

Now more loans will be given, farmers of Madhya Pradesh will benefit

NABARD loan

In order to increase the income of the farmers, many important schemes are being run by the National Rural and Agriculture Development Bank-NABARD. In this episode, this time under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, State Debt Seminar 2022-23 was organized by the Madhya Pradesh Regional Office of NABARD. In this event, the issue of increasing the income of the farmers was discussed.

During the event, information was given on investment in the agriculture sector of Madhya Pradesh and on the subject of loans to be provided to the farmers. The Chief General Manager of NABARD, Smt. TS Rajigen, who was present at the event, told the Finance Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr Jagdish Deora, that crop loans and agricultural term loans are being increased in the state. With this move, more farmers are expected to get crop loans at zero percent interest this year.
