Apply for crop insurance soon before this date, see complete information

The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana is being run by the Central Government to protect the farmers from future losses due to farming. Under the scheme, the notification of the crop insurance scheme for Kharif 2022 has been issued. With the help of this, the farmers will be able to compensate for the loss in future. In this sequence, the online application process has started in Madhya Pradesh and will continue till July 31.

Under this scheme, farmers can apply for urad, moong, jowar, groundnut, sesame, cotton, paddy, maize, millet and tur along with other Kharif crops. Under this scheme, along with the application form, it is necessary to attach a crop insurance proposal form, Aadhar card, identity card, land rights book and sowing certificate valid by the government.

According to the scheme, farmers can get the notified crops insured through a bank, a public service center, and a representative of the designated insurance company. At the same time, for the implementation of the scheme, the process of opening tenders has started in 11 clusters of the state. Let us inform you that the last date of the insurance application has been fixed as 31 July 2022. Farmers can avoid losses by getting their crops insured before the time runs out.

Method and use of making Jeevamrut

  • Jeevamrut acts as a catalyst by promoting the activity of microorganisms in the soil and also provides relevant nutrients. It is also a source of organic carbon and other nutrients, but in small amounts. It acts as a primer for the activity of microorganisms, and also increases the number of native earthworms.

  • Ingredients Required: 10 kg fresh cow dung, 5-10 liters cow urine, 50 grams lime, 2 kg jaggery, 2 kg pulse flour, 1 kg dam soil and 200 liters of water.

  • Method of preparation of Jeevamrut: The ingredients should be mixed in 200 liters of water and stirred well. After this, keep this mixture in a shady place to ferment for 48 hours. It should be driven twice – once in the morning and once in the evening – with a wooden stick. Apply the prepared mixture through irrigation water or directly on the crops. It can also be applied through drip irrigation using venturi (fertigation device).

  • Application of Jeevamrut:  This mixture should be used every fortnight. Its application should be applied directly on crops through spraying or with irrigation water. In the case of fruit plants, it should be applied to individual trees. This mixture can be stored for 15 days.
