After cow dung, now the government will also buy cow urine at this rate

23/07/2022 Sunday July 24th, 2022

With the aim of increasing the income of farmers, the government is running many schemes. In this episode, the Chhattisgarh government has now announced to buy cow urine after cow dung. Under this scheme, on the one hand, farmers and livestock farmers will get additional income. On the other hand, pest control products can be prepared from Jeevamrut and cow urine for organic farming, which will reduce the cost of farming.

According to the announcement, the Chief Minister of the state will start the work of buying cow urine on July 28 in the Gauthans of the state through a special program. At the same time, under this scheme, a minimum amount of Rs 4 per liter has been fixed by the Gauthan Management Committee for the purchase of cow urine from cattle rearers in Chhattisgarh. That is to say, farmers will get at least Rs 4 per liter on selling cow urine. This purchase amount may also increase which will depend on the Gothan committee. However, farmers and livestock owners will get double benefits by purchasing cow urine after cow dung.

Crop protection device and its benefits

In this sequence, agricultural scientists have designed such a crop protection device, which is proving to be very useful and effective for the farmers. Weather information such as wind, water, storm, storm alerts are already received by this device. At the same time, along with the weather forecast, the information about the outbreak of insect disease, ground water level and nutrients present in the soil is also received automatically on the mobile of the farmer. According to which farmers can protect their crops in time.

Kisan Bhai’s experience with the machine

Gulab Verma, a resident of Dongargaon block of Chhattisgarh, has described the crop protection device as very beneficial. He has obtained this machine from the Horticulture Department at a cost of Rs.50,000. Through which they are getting all the information related to farm and weather at the right time on mobile. Recently, he received an alert for protection against fungal diseases in the crop, under which Gulab Verma consciously arranged for crop protection and saved himself from future damages.

The Monsoon trough is now passing through North India, due to which light to moderate rains will occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and East India. After 24 hours, the rain activities will increase again in the northern districts of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat and there may be heavy rain in many places. Torrential rain is possible in the mountains. Rain activities are likely to increase over the northeastern states as well. Light to moderate rain will continue over Kerala and Coastal parts of Karnataka.
