  • Timely nutrient management is very important in the onion nursery, it helps in the germination and vegetative growth of the plant.

  • Seeds are sown in the nursery before the onion sowing and the dimensions of the nursery beds are 3 ‘x 10’ and 10-15 cm in height.

  • Nutrition management is very essential to give the onion nursery a good head start. 

  • FYM @ 10 kg/nursery use as a nursery treatment before seed sowing.

  • Use seaweed extract, amino acid, humic acid, mycorrhiza  @ 25 gram/nursery to treat the nursery at the time of sowing.

  • Nutrition management is done within seven days of onion nursery sowing.  

  • Spray Humic Acid @ 10 gram/ pump for nutritional management.

Low pressure has formed in the Bay of Bengal, due to which rain activities will intensify over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. 1-2 moderate spells with isolated rain are possible over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Rainfall will increase over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka and Maharashtra coasts from September 25 or 26.
