Government will give subsidy up to 70%, will get benefit on cultivation of marigold flowers

With the help of many government schemes started for farmers, the income of farmers is increasing. In view of this, the government is also bringing many new schemes in farming. Bihar government is running a similar scheme for the farmers of its state. Under this, farmers who cultivate marigold flowers are given bumper subsidy. The objective of the government behind giving subsidy is that the farmers of North Bihar can achieve self-sufficiency in marigold cultivation.

According to the news, a target of 6 hectares has been set for the cultivation of marigold flowers in Bihar by the year 2023-24. Through this scheme, farmers of North Bihar can get the benefit of subsidy up to 70% on cultivation of marigold. The benefit of this scheme will be available to those farmers who have already registered for it on the DBT portal. If you have not registered on the DBT portal till now, then do it soon.

Initially, brown spots appear on the lower surface of the leaves. Older leaves, which are closer to the ground, are affected by the disease. As the disease progresses, the leaves dry up and turn brown. In case of severe infection, the plant may completely defoliate. Spots may also be seen on the upper surface of the leaves. The disease progresses from the lower leaves upwards and infects the stem and fruits.

Control:- If its attack is observed, spray M-45 (Mancozeb 75% WP) at the rate of 400 gm/acre mixed with 200 litres of water.

This disease increases due to excess moisture and heat in the ground.

Control: Disease-resistant varieties should be selected, it is a soil-borne disease, so it is necessary to do soil treatment, for this, treat the soil with Combat (Trichoderma viride 1% WP) 2 kg/acre or if the symptoms of the disease appear, In case of disease symptoms, Blue Copper (Copper oxychloride 50% WP) @ 300 gm/acre mixed with water should be applied through drip or soil drenching.

  • Seeds are sown in beds. The height of the beds should be 10 to 15 cm and the size should be 3*6 m.

  • The distance between the two beds should be 70 cm. So that inter-cultural activities can be done easily.

  • The surface of nursery beds should be friable and flat so that water cannot be filled.

  • Farmyard manure should be mixed at the rate of 8-10 kg/sqm while making nursery beds.

  • The problem of water logging can be overcome by constructing high beds in heavy soil.

  • Dhanustin (Carbendazim 50% WP) at 15-20 gm/10 Ltr to prevent diseases like Damping Off. Make a slurry in water and mix it well in the soil. To protect plants from insect attack, applyThianova (Thiamethoxam 25% WG) at the rate of 0.3 g/sqm at the time of nursery preparation.

  • It takes 25 to 30 days to prepare the cauliflower nursery, after which the plants should be transplanted in the main field.

On the other hand, rain will continue in South India and heavy rains may also occur at some places from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Lakshadweep. Northeast states may also receive light rain.
