Install solar pump at only 10% cost, know what is the government’s special scheme

It is very important to give timely irrigation to the crops for good yield. Even today, non-availability of irrigation at the right time remains a serious problem for the farmers. On the one hand, due to the rising prices of diesel, farmers find it very expensive to irrigate with pump sets, while on the other hand, irrigation through electricity is also not a cheap way. In such a situation, solar pump has emerged as a better option.

However, not every farmer is able to install solar pumps. Therefore, to help such farmers, the central government is running the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana. Under this, 90% subsidy is given to economically weak farmers for installation of solar pumps.

With the help of this scheme, along with the need of irrigation in the fields, farmers can also earn good profits. Under which you can generate electricity up to Rs 15 lakh from your established solar plant. Interested farmers can apply by visiting the official website of the scheme at pmkusum.mnre.gov.in.

In order to increase the irrigated land in the agriculture sector and to stop the falling groundwater level, the central and state governments want to strengthen the irrigation process. Various schemes are also being run for this purpose. In this episode, a special scheme has been made by the state government for the farmers of Haryana in the field of micro-irrigation.

With this scheme, good production can be taken from the crop by using less water under a micro-irrigation system. Under this scheme, the subsidy is being given for micro-irrigation ponds, solar pumps, mini sprinklers/drips etc. Subsidy of 70% will be available for water tank construction, 75% for solar pumps and 85% for mini sprinkler/drip.

Farmers can apply online to get subsidies. This online application can be done on the farmer https://cadaharyana.nic.in/ portal.

“Venture Capital Scheme for Dairy and Poultry” was started by NABARD, however now it is renamed as ‘Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme’. Farmers, individual entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations, dairy cooperatives, milk unions, etc. can take advantage of this scheme.

Take advantage of the scheme like this

  • Select the suitable dairy business under the scheme for which you are eligible.

  • Register your business as a company or NGO and then apply for a bank loan for a dairy business.

  • The loan can be repaid in the form of an EMI and some instalments of these EMIs will be waived off by the bank.

  • After this, the amount of rebate given on EMI will be adjusted from the subsidy of NABARD.

Animals will be treated easily sitting at home

Most of the farmers in the country do agriculture as well as animal husbandry business. Through animal husbandry, farmers get good profits at a low cost. In such a situation, the government is running many schemes to promote animal husbandry, so that more and more farmers can get benefit from this business.

In this episode, grants are being given by the state governments at their respective levels for animal husbandry. With the help of which veterinary hospitals are being established in rural areas for the treatment and vaccination of animals. However, even after so many efforts, many times the animals die due to a lack of timely treatment.

To deal with this problem, a mobile veterinary unit is being established across the country under the strengthening scheme, so that the animals can be treated on time with the help of vehicles. In this series, the Madhya Pradesh government has started 406 mobile veterinary units in the state. With the help of this, animals can be treated at the right time sitting at home or on the way.

Under the scheme, necessary equipment like veterinary, minor surgery, artificial insemination, and disease investigation have been arranged in the vehicles. Along with this, a veterinary doctor, a paravet and a driver-cum-assistant have been arranged in the vehicle. Apart from this, a call center has also been established in the mobile veterinary unit. With the help of this, animals will be able to get treatment at the right time.
