Copper

Cobalt

It helps in the synthesis of vitamin B12, which helps in the formation of red blood cells and growth.
Lack of appetite due to cobalt can cause weakness, Pica, Diarrhea, and infertility.

Zinc

Zinc helps in the formation of many enzymes, due to its deficiency there is a decrease in protein synthesis and inhibition of metabolism of carbohydrates.
Apart from this, skin disorders such as skin become dry, hard, and thick due to their deficiency.

Vitamin E and Selenium

It is a very important mineral for growth and reproduction. Both Vitamin E and Selenium provide immunity to the body.

Manganese

Sales of fertilizers reached at record levels even during lockdown period

Traffic is prohibited during the nationwide lockdown because of the Corona infection. Despite this, a lot of work is going on in the agricultural sector during this period. This is what we see by looking at the figures for fertilizer sales at record levels during the lockdown period.

During the lockdown between April 1 and April 22, 2020, farmers have purchased 10.63 lakh metric tonnes of fertilizer. If we compare this figure with the fertilizer sales data for the same period last year, then there is a big difference. This year fertilizer sales have increased by 32% as compared to 8.02 lakh metric tonnes in the same period last year.

The Government of India has granted permission for the operation of fertilizer plants in the country under the Essential Commodities Act, even during lockdown so that the lockdown does not have any ill effects on the agricultural sector.

SBI will give Agri Gold loan to farmers at low interest, know about the loan

Due to the ongoing lockdown amid the Corona epidemic, people are facing economic problems and this also upset the farmers of the country. To overcome these problems of farmers, SBI has started the Agri Gold Loan Scheme.

Under this scheme, farmers can take loans according to their requirements by giving gold ornaments kept in their homes. During the lockdown, more than 5 lakh farmers have taken advantage of this loan scheme of SBI.

Information about Agri Gold loan scheme

Under this scheme, gold jewelry is deposited and the loan is taken as per requirement. The farmer applying for this has to give a copy of his agricultural land in the bank. Loans under this will attract an annual interest of 9.95%. If the farmer is landless but has a tractor on his name, then the loan can be taken by depositing ornaments based on that tractor.

This disease is spread by the sucking insect whitefly.
To control spray Diafenthiuron 50% WP 200 gm or Pyriproxyfen 10% + Bifenthrin 10% EC 200 ml or Acetamiprid 20% SP 100 gm in 200 liters of water per acre.

How to manage fertilizer in rainy season Brinjal?

The nursery is sown in February-March for rainy season brinjal.
Brinjal plant is ready for transplanting in the main field after 30-40 days.
Add the fertilizer amount to the field according to the soil test report or
Before transplanting the plant, apply 90 kg Urea, 250 kg Single Super Phosphate (SSP), and 100 kg Muriate of Potash (MOP) along with FYM.
Divide 90 kg of Urea into three parts. The first part of urea is given 30-40 days after transplanting, the second part after the next 30 days, and the third installment or part in the form of top dressing at the time of flowering.

e-GramSwaraj App and Swamitva Yojana will be helpful in providing loans to farmers

On Friday, on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day, PM Modi spoke to sarpanches across the country through video conferencing. During this time he also launched the e-GramSwaraj portal and app and Swamitva Yojana.

The e-GramSwaraj app will provide all the information about the fund and all other works of the Gram Panchayats, due to which the Panchayat works will get transparency and development works will also be fast.

The Swamitva Yojana will help in removing all the confusion about the property among the villagers, as well as mapping of each property with the help of drones will be done in the villages. After the implementation of this scheme, rural farmers will be able to borrow easily from banks like cities.

Let us know that only a few states have been covered under these schemes. These states include 6 more states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh which are starting trials of this scheme. If the trial of this scheme is successful then it will be started in every village.

Purchase of Gram and Lentils on support price will begin in Madhya Pradesh on this day

It has been more than two weeks since the procurement of wheat started in Madhya Pradesh on support price. Now the government is going to start procuring gram and lentils from farmers. The purchase of gram and lentils at support price in the state will start from April 29.

On this issue, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan reviewed on Sunday, and during this time he has instructed the officers present there to follow the social distance along with the lockdown guidelines during the process of procuring gram and lentils.

It was told in this review meeting that so far 16 lakh 73 thousand metric tons of wheat has been purchased from three lakh 72 thousand farmers at the support price and farmers have also been paid against it.

pH value of soil

It shows the reaction of soil, whether the soil is normal, acidic, or alkaline in nature. Decreasing or increasing soil pH affects the growth of plants.
Suitable varieties of crops are recommended in problematic areas. Which has the ability to tolerate acidification and alkalinity?
Nutrients are most commonly received by plants between values 6.5 to 7.5. soil pH. When the value is less than 6.5 the land is acidic and if it is more than 7.5 the land is alkaline.
Recommendation to add lime for acidic land and gypsum for alkaline soil.

Electrical conductivity

Soil electrical conductivity (EC) is an indirect measurement that has a very deep correlation with the physical and chemical properties of soil. Soil electrical conductivity is an indication of the availability of nutrients in the soil.
The greater concentration of salts in the soil leaves a detrimental effect on the absorption of nutrients.
Very low electrical conductivity levels indicate low available nutrients, and very high EC levels indicate nutrient excess. Those with low EC are often found in sandy soils with low organic matter levels, while high EC levels are found in high organic soil content (more clay).
Soil texture, salinity, and moisture are the soil properties that most affect EC levels.
