Get solar pumps installed on bumper subsidy, know government’s plan
The saying ‘bin pani sab soon’ fits perfectly for agriculture. As everyone knows, farming is impossible without water. There are many irrigation resources available in the market for advanced and modern farming. Which requires electricity or solar to run. Along with this, the central and state governments are also running many schemes to provide irrigation resources to the farmers.
The most popular resource among these is the solar pump. By using this, the additional expenditure of farmers on electricity and diesel for irrigation is reduced. Under this scheme, up to 60% subsidy will be given by the government to the farmers for setting up solar pumps. The remaining 40% amount will have to be given to the farmers themselves. If the farmer’s brother is not even able to pay the remaining amount, then he can take a loan from the bank for this.
Eligibility for applying Rajasthan Solar Pump Scheme
In this scheme, priority is being given to small and marginal farmers of the state. Only those farmers who have their own land of at least 0.5 hectares can apply for this scheme.
