Heavy rains are expected in more than half of the states of the country, in which Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra will see good rains. Heavy rain activities are also likely to continue in the northeastern states. Light to moderate rains may occur in the mountains and rains with dust storms in North and North West India. Many districts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan including Delhi may see rain and thunder along with dust storms.

Rainfall activity has reduced a bit in Kerala but heavy rains continue in northeastern states. Now rains will gain momentum in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and southern Karnataka and will push the monsoon forward. Today light thunderstorms and rain were seen in north eastern Rajasthan and western Haryana. From tomorrow rain activities will also be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and the temperature will decrease.
