Nowadays many farmers are not able to do good farming due to lack of water and crops are getting spoiled. The main reason for this is the falling water level. This problem is being seen a lot in Haryana, and in view of this, the state government has taken a big step. The government will provide financial assistance to those farmers of the state who cultivate paddy by the ‘direct sowing’ method.
In fact, a lot of water is consumed in the traditional cultivation of paddy, but if this paddy is cultivated in the form of direct seeding, less water is required. Now the government is going to give 4000 rupees to those farmers who are cultivating paddy by direct sowing method. To take advantage of this scheme, farmers can apply till June 30.
Along with this, farmers of Haryana have also announced subsidies on machines used for direct sowing paddy. For this, the state government will give a subsidy of Rs 40,000 on each machine. Under this, subsidy money will be sent to the farmers’ account through DBT. Visit the official website of the Haryana Government https://fasal.haryana.gov.in to avail of the subsidy.
