inform that in the year 2020-21, a maximum of 129 lakh 42 thousand metric tonnes of wheat was sold in Madhya Pradesh. Although the procurement of 128 lakh 15 thousand metric tonnes of wheat was recorded during 2021-22, the government has taken this special step only to increase this production.
Under this, more than 4500 procurement centers have been set up by the state government, through which direct purchase of wheat can be done from the farmers. These efforts will help the farmers and the state government manage the increased wheat production.
