Farmers will no longer suffer during weighing
Procurement of moong is going on in Madhya Pradesh at the minimum support price. Meanwhile, a special step has been taken in the interest of farmers. Giving importance to the farmers to get the full benefit of their produce, the state government has ordered for weighing with flat weighing forks at the procurement centers. The government is taking full care that there should not be any problem in the arrangements during the purchase.
Farmers are constantly getting SMS for procurement, so that in that sequence the farmer can reach the centers with his produce. The purpose of this move of the government is to save the farmers from middlemen, who cause economic loss to them by buying their crops at cheap prices. Let us inform that the farmers have got a lot of relief from the procurement of summer moong. This year, moong is being procured by the government at the rate of Rs 7275 per quintal.

Symptoms and control measures for mite damage in chilli crops
Symptoms of damage
Mite infestation becomes more in September. Due to the infestation of this pest, the yield is greatly affected. These are very tiny insects that suck the sap from the lower surface of the leaves, causing the leaves to turn downwards (like an inverted boat). Due to sucking of sap from the leaves, white to yellow spots appear on the surface of the leaves. As the infection progresses, the leaves first appear silver in color and later these leaves fall.
Control measures
-
For biological treatment, spray Brigade B @ 1 kg + silicomaxx @ 50 ml per acre, @ 150 to 200 liters of water.
-
For chemical control, take a spray of Oberon (Spiromesifen 22.90% SC) @ 160 ml or Omite (propargite 57% EC) @ 600 ml + silicomaxx @ 50 ml per acre

Government will buy paddy at higher MSP than last year
Due to the irregularity of rains this monsoon, many states witnessed drought conditions. Due to this, many farmers have not even been able to sow paddy. Due to this, the yield of paddy in this Kharif season has decreased significantly from last year. Amidst these circumstances, the central government has decided to purchase paddy this year at a higher support price. Under the announcement, the government will procure 518 lakh tonnes of paddy. For this, the target of procurement of paddy has been fixed according to the states.
The common grade variety of paddy will be procured by the government at an MSP of Rs 2,040 per quintal, compared to the MSP of Rs 1,940 per quintal it was procured last year. On the other hand, the ‘A Grade’ variety of paddy will be procured at an MSP of Rs 2,060 per quintal, against the MSP of Rs 1,960 per quintal last year. Let us tell you that this time the government will pay special attention to the purchase of coarse grains in Kharif crops. Under this, the state governments have been asked to buy 13 lakh 70 thousand metric tonnes of coarse grains. In such a situation, farmers are going to benefit a lot by selling their crops at MSP.
