Up to 5 lakh subsidy will be available on agricultural drones, apply soon
The Government of India is constantly taking new steps to make farming easier for the farmers. Many types of new technologies are also being promoted by the government in the agriculture sector. However, many farmers are unable to adopt these techniques due to financial constraints.

Under this, farmers of SC-ST, small, marginal, women and northeastern states can get a subsidy of up to a maximum of 5 lakhs in the form of a subsidy of 50%. Farmers of a general category can get subsidies up to a maximum of 4 lakhs in the form of a subsidy of 40%. At the same time, Farmer Producer Organizations can take advantage of the maximum subsidy of 75%. To apply under this, go to the website of the Ministry of Farmers Welfare https://agricoop.nic.in/.

Measures for identification and prevention of Fusarium wilt disease in chilli crops
Fusarium wilt:
Fusarium wilt is a common disease of the chilli crop. It is a seed and soil borne disease caused by a fungus called Fusarium oxysporum. Affected plants suddenly wither and gradually dry up. Such plants are easily uprooted when pulled by hand. Due to Fusarium wilt, the roots of the diseased plants turn brown and black from inside. When the diseased plants are cut, the tissue appears black. The leaves of the plants wither and fall down. This disease progresses due to excessive moisture and heat in the air and soil and when the right moisture environment is provided by irrigation.
biological management:
Apply Combat (Trichoderma viride @ 500 gm) or Monas Curb (Pseudomonas fluorescens 1% WP) @ 500 gm per acre.
According to TNAU:
Mix @ 2 kg Combat (Trichoderma Viride) formulation with 50 kg FYM, sprinkle water over it and cover with a thin polythene sheet. After 15 days when the growth of mycelia is visible on the heap, apply the mixture in one acre area.

Annadoot scheme will give employment opportunity to youth
The central and state governments are running many schemes to connect the youth with self-employment. In this episode, the Madhya Pradesh government has started ‘Annadoot Yojana’ for the youth in the state. Through this scheme, the state government has decided to give the responsibility of delivering food grains to the ration shops to the youth. For this, food grains of 6 to 8 tonnes capacity will be procured to be given to the youth. For the purchase of these vehicles, the government itself will give a guarantee to the banks and a grant of 3%.
Under this scheme, Rs 65 has been fixed by the government at the rate of transport per quintal. However, according to this payment, the remaining expenses including diesel, and driver will have to be paid. According to the data, 120 transporters work to reach the fair price ration shops. There is only one transporter in most of the districts. In such a situation, this scheme will prove to be better for food supply and self-employment.
