Make farming easy by renting a drone for Rs 350, know-how?

Make farming easy by renting a drone for Rs 350

In order to bring innovation and modernization to Indian agriculture, the government is doing many new experiments. Now it has become an everyday necessity for farmers to use technology in farming. The use of drones is also becoming more and more talked about in the agriculture sector.

By the way, the cost of drones is high and not every farmer can use them, in view of this, some government agencies can buy drones and rent them to farmers. Once this is done, for spraying pesticides and fertilizers on one acre of land, rent will be charged at the rate of Rs 350. This will greatly reduce agricultural expenditure and will also save fertilizers.

Government will give compensation for the destruction of crops, this is a useful scheme

Government will give compensation for the destruction of crops

Many times the crops grown by the farmer after working hard have to face damage due to weather and natural calamity. Due to this farmers have to face huge economic losses.

To solve this problem, many schemes are being run for the farmers by the central and state government. Haryana Government is also running a similar scheme and through this scheme, farmers cultivating horticulture crops are compensated for the loss due to bad weather and natural calamities.

This scheme is the “Mukhyamantri Horticulture Insurance Scheme” and a total of 21 vegetables, fruits and spice crops have been covered under it. Under this, an insurance amount of Rs 30,000 will be given on the damage of vegetable and spice crops and Rs 40 thousand on the damage of fruit crops. To take advantage of this, farmers will have to opt for this scheme while registering their crop and area on the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora” portal.

Right time of sowing moong and field preparation

Right time of sowing moong and field preparation
  • In the summer season, short-duration crop moong is a better option for the farmers.

  • The appropriate time for sowing summer moong crops is from the third week of February to the first week of April.

  • At this time, moong is a better option for farmers to grow during the short duration crop in zaid season.

  • The appropriate time for sowing summer moong crops is from February to March and June-July is the appropriate time for sowing Kharif moong.

  • Loamy to sandy loamy soil is considered best for the cultivation of moong.

  • For this, the ideal pH value of the soil is considered to be 6.5 to 7.5.

  • For the preparation of the summer moong field, after harvesting rabi crops, ploughing the field should be done after leaving it for 4-5 days. After irrigation, do 2-3 ploughing with an indigenous plough or cultivator and make the field flat and friable by applying a leveler. Due to this, the moisture is conserved in it and the seeds get good germination.
