  • Black wheat contains up to 60 percent more iron than normal wheat and the same amount of protein, nutrients and starch.

  • Wheat contains 5 to 15 ppm of anthocyanin while in black wheat it is 40 to 140 ppm.

  • Anthocyanin is a natural antioxidant and antibiotic, which is very effective in diseases such as heart attack, cancer, sugar, mental stress, knee pain, anemia.

  • The market price of its produce is also better than that of normal wheat.
