The government is promoting high yielding crops with less irrigation. In this episode, the government is making preparations to give free seeds to the farmers cultivating maize collectively. This preparation is being done to benefit the farmers of Korba district of Chhattisgarh.
This time summer paddy is not included under the Prime Minister’s Insurance Scheme. In the pulses-oilseed crops instead of paddy, more attention is being given to the cultivation of gram, mustard. Apart from this, awareness is being spread about farmers getting the benefit of more crops in less irrigation. In this episode, free seeds are being given for the mass cultivation of maize.
