How to control the caterpillar in the chilli nursery

  • Within 15–20 days of sowing of seeds in chilli nursery, caterpillars may attack due to changing weather..

  • Chilli is not growing properly due to attacks of caterpillars.

  • The caterpillar destroys the chilli plant’s soft leaves by eating it.

  • It is beneficial to use the following products for its control

  • Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 % SC @ 60 m/acre or Novaluron 5.25 %+ Emamectin Benzoate 0.9 Sc 5.25% @ 600 ml/acre or Profenofos 40 % + Cypermethrin 4% EC @ 400 ml/ acre .

  • Spray Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre as a biological  treatment.
