  • Downy Mildew: – This disease appears in the form of yellow spots on the lower surface of the leaves, after some time these spots become angular and turn into a brown powder.

Chemical Management:- Spray Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC [Custodia] @ 300 ml or Fosetyl 80% WP [Alliate] @ 500 gm/ acre.

  • Powdery Mildew:- This disease usually affects the leaves. White powder appears on the upper and lower surface of the leaves.

  • Gummy Stem Blight:- Symptoms of this disease first appear in the form of dark brown spots on the leaves and then on the stem. One of the main symptoms of this disease is that a sticky substance like gum comes out from the stem affected by this disease.

Chemical Management:- Spray Kasugamycin 5% + Copper Oxychloride 45% WP [Conika] @ 300 gm or Chlorothalonil 75% WP [Jatayu] @ 300 gm per acre.

  • Anthracnose:- Symptoms of this disease appear on the plant’s leaves, vines, and fruits. Small, circular spots appear on the fruit, due to which the fruit starts falling without ripening, causing a heavy loss in yield.

Chemical Management:- To control this disease, spray Chlorothalonil 75% WP [Jatayu] 300 gm or Hexaconazole 5% SC [Trigger Pro] 300 ml/acre.
