GK-44 is a similar kind of variety to Sharbati, which is the best food. A yield of 25 quintals/acre can be obtained by using these seeds at the rate of 40 kg/acre. This crop requires only 3 irrigations. Its three to three-and-a-half feet height hardy plants are tolerant of drought, due to which its crop requires less care. Its total crop period is 120 to 130 days.
