In the states of Central India, the northern winds will reduce in the next few days due to which the temperature may increase. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rains in the hilly and plains of North India before Republic Day. From January 26, most parts of the country are expected to have a clean and dry season.

The weather is expected to remain dry in the coming days in all the states of Central India, while the rainy season over Northeast India over Assam, Arunachal, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Nagaland will remain for the next 24 hours. During this period, there will be rain in some places in Tamil Nadu. The weather will be cloudy in North India from January 22.

While the weather of Central India will remain stable in the coming days, an active western disturbance will soon be knocked near the hill states of North India. Due to this effect, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand from 23 January to 25 January. Rain and hailstorm may occur at some places in Punjab, Haryana as well. Meanwhile, light to moderate rains will continue over the northeastern states and Tamil Nadu during the next 48 hours.

The weather will remain normal in the states of Central India for the next few days. States of Northeast India, especially Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall at some places. In Tamil Nadu, there will be rain in some places. While in the plains of northern India and in the plains of the Ganges Cold will increase.
