Farmer Bhai Suresh Ji planted Chipsona-3 potatoes in two acres in which he used sulfur 90% WDG at the rate of 6 kg / acre, which gave him good results. Sulphur is an important component of enzyme and other proteins and is essential for the formation of chlorophyll. It is recommended to give the soil preparation time of 20 kg / Ha. sulphur.

Sulphur has been found to be one of the most critical nutrients for chickpea. Application of 20 kg S/ha has been found optimum. Different sources of Sulphur such as 90% WDG, Gypsum, Pyrite, Single Super Phosphate have been found equally effective.

Resulting of sulphur deficiency the leaves show a general overall chlorosis. The yellowing is much more uniform over the entire plant including young leaves. Soil application of Sulphur @ 30kg/ha is recommended as basal dose, although sulphur is given in many forms, but by giving sulphur 80% WDG as spraying, it also works as fungicide and miticide, so use sulphur 80% WDG @ 50 gm / 15 litres of water.
