This disease is caused by a fungus called Rhizoctonia solani. Due to this disease, the main symptoms of the disease appear on the sheath near the surface of the water or land. Preventive measures
For prevention, Spray Novacon (hexaconazole 5% EC) @ 400 ml or Custodia (azoxystrobin 11% + tebuconazole 18.3% w/w sc) @ 240 ml or Nativo (tebuconazole 50% + trifloxystrobin 25% wg) @ 80 gm + SilicoMaxx @ 50 ml per acre @ 150 to 200 liters of water.
