90% subsidy will be given on various organic pesticides

The Rajasthan government has started many new schemes in the state to promote organic farming. Farmers are being encouraged to do organic farming through these schemes. In this series, the state government is providing subsidies of up to 90% to the farmers on the purchase of organic pesticides.

Different insecticides are used for different pests in agriculture. In such a situation, the state government has decided to give subsidies on all recommended organic pesticides. Through this scheme, bio-pesticides like Trichoderma, NSKE, Azadirachtin, Beauveria bassina, Metahergisum, Verticulum, NPV, Pheramon trap, Trichocards etc. will be provided to the farmers at approved rates.

The objective of this scheme of the state government is to increase the income of farmers by reducing the cost of farming. Let us inform you that under the state scheme, bio-pesticide kits will be provided to one lakh farmers. Due to this, the farmer brothers will have to pay only 10% of the purchase of organic pesticides, the rest 90% or the maximum rate of Rs 900 per hectare will be paid by the government.

At least 50% of small and marginal farmers in the state will be benefited from this scheme. Apart from this, priority will be given to the farmers of scheduled caste, tribe, women farmers, BPL, Antyodaya and food security families in the scheme.

In such a situation, for the financial help of these farmers, the Rajasthan government has started the fencing scheme. Under this, the National Food Security Mission on oilseeds, fellow farmers can get thorny nets installed around their fields on subsidy. Through this scheme, 50% of the cost of wiring or a maximum of 40 thousand rupees will be given.

To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have a group of at least 3 farmer companions. Also, the farmer group should have 3 hectares of cultivable land i.e. 12 bighas of land. However, according to the condition, electrical connections cannot flow in the wiring.

Girls students are getting scholarship up to 15 thousand rupees, apply soon

Today, women are walking step by step with men in every field. The Rajasthan government is making many efforts so that their participation in the agriculture sector should not be reduced. In this series, the state government is providing scholarships to girls studying agriculture in the field of education, so that more and more women can join the agriculture sector during their education.

Under the scheme, this scholarship is available in agriculture from class 11th and 12th to Ph.D. are being given to the girl students. Under this, an incentive amount of Rs 5000 is being provided to the girl students of class 11th and 12th. At the same time, 12 thousand rupees are being given every year to the girl students doing graduation and post graduation in agriculture subject. In addition to Ph.D. 15 thousand rupees per annum are being given to the girl students doing this.

In this sequence, the Education Department has sought applications for scholarship from the girl students studying agriculture. For this, the interested students can submit their own SSOID. Government will pay rent for installing solar pump in the field

Renewable energy is being promoted to meet the increasing consumption of electricity in the agriculture sector. Under this, the Kusum scheme is being run by the central government in the country. Through this, the rent of the land will be given by the government for the installation of solar pump. To make the benefits of this scheme reach the farmers, three components have been included in it.

These components are as follows:-

  • Farmers can set up a solar plant on their land and sell the electricity obtained from it to the government.

  • You can install solar pumps in your field to irrigate crops.

  • Farmer brothers can also get solar pumps installed to irrigate crops and sell electricity.

The benefits of all the three components of this scheme are being given to the farmers of Rajasthan. The state government has given instructions to install 1 lakh solar pumps under the scheme. A portal will be started soon to take the process of this scheme forward. Through which interested farmers can get their land registered. With its help, farmers can lease their land for up to 25 years to set up GSS.

Apart from farmer brothers, developers can also take advantage of this scheme. Under the scheme, an annual lease rent of Rs.80 thousand per hectare will be given on land worth Rs.8 lakh. On the other hand, if the land is more than 20 lakh rupees, the lease rent will be given at the rate of 1 lakh 60 thousand per hectare. Not only this, the lease rent should be increased by 5% every two years.

Farmers who repay the loan on time will get 50% discount

Due to the uncertainty of the weather, there is always a fear of loss to the farmer’s farming. Where many times the entire crop gets ruined due to floods or droughts. In such a situation, to provide economic relief to the farmers, loans are given at low interest by the central and state governments.

In this episode, during the Corona period, the Rajasthan government had implemented a special scheme for the farmers of its state. Under this, the Government of Rajasthan had implemented the ‘Ekmusht Samjhauta Yojana’. Through this, loans are made available to farmers at very low interest by cooperative land development banks.

However, many farmers have not been able to pay the loan even after the completion of the time period. Considering the financial helplessness of the farmers, the state government has issued a new update in this scheme. According to this, farmers will be given interest rebate on timely repayment of loans taken by cooperative land development banks.

As per the order, the last date for repayment of the loan has been fixed as June 30, 2022. Farmers’ interest and penal interest will be waived up to 50% on repayment of the loan on this fixed date. Apart from this, the families of the indebted farmers who have died have been given relief from all kinds of penal amounts. However, it will be mandatory for their heirs to deposit the principal amount.
