There is a provision of huge subsidy from the horticulture department on the installation of drip-sprinklers, mini sprinklers etc. under the Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme. Under this, farmers can get subsidies ranging from 55 percent to 45 percent.
Explain that small marginal farmers will get subsidy under this scheme. These include general, scheduled tribes, scheduled castes who will get a subsidy of 55 percent, while large farmers including general, scheduled tribes and scheduled castes will get 45 percent subsidy.
