New new technologies are being incorporated in agriculture and farmers are also participating in it. In this series, the government is giving a big boost to the cultivation of herbal plants and is also encouraging the farmers for this. Under this, many types of assistance are also being provided to the farmers.
A list of 140 species has been prepared to promote herbal i.e. medicinal farming and to help the farmers for it. Along with this, the government has made a provision to give 75% of the total expenditure in medicinal farming as subsidy.
