Mites problem and control measures in brinjal crop

Mites outbreaks are mostly seen during hot and dry weather. Both the young and the adult of this insect suck the sap from the lower surface of the leaves. White brown spots appear on the leaves. Affected leaves become mottled and brown, and fall off. In severe infestation, the upper part of the plant is covered with a spider web. Mites-infested plants can be recognized from a distance by the distinctive speckled characteristic appearing on the upper surface of the leaf.
