A Project Worth 1400 Crore Rupee to Solve Irrigation Challenges

Sendhwa Micro Udvahan Sinchai Pariyojana

Proper irrigation is crucial for successful farming, yet many farmers struggle to access adequate water for their fields. To address this issue, the Madhya Pradesh government has launched the “Sendhwa Micro Udvahan Sinchai Pariyojana.” This ambitious project aims to transport water directly from sources to fields through pipelines.

By leveraging modern micro-irrigation techniques, the project will enable irrigation over a larger area while conserving water. Farmers will benefit from reduced water usage, increased crop yields, and lower agricultural expenses, making this initiative a boon for the farming community.

As per reports, the project is estimated to cost ₹1,402.74 crore and will provide irrigation facilities to approximately 44,148.50 hectares across 98 villages. Around 53,000 farmers are expected to benefit from this initiative.

Farmers seeking to avail of this scheme can contact their nearest agriculture department or project office for more details.
