Union Water Power Ministry has launched an integrated portal under the Govardhan Yojana launched in the year 2018. The objective of this scheme is to increase the income of cattle rearers by better management of cattle dung and other bio-wastes.
Under the second phase of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Govardhan Yojana is being adopted as the primary program. Under this, biogas and organic manure is also being made from cattle dung and other bio-wastes.

In the provisions of Budget 2021, it has been decided to add 22 crops to the Operation Green Scheme. The scheme was started with tomatoes, potatoes and onions. The main goal of this scheme was to better conserve potatoes, onions and tomatoes as well as increase their supply. Also, the objective of this scheme was that the value of tomato, potato and onion crops should be stable and the farmers cultivating it should also get its benefits.
However, in the coming days, 22 crops will be added to this scheme, which will greatly benefit the farmers. These 22 crops mainly include vegetables and fruits.

In the national budget for the year 2021, 1 crore people have been asked to provide free LPG gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme. This will especially benefit a lot of rural women.
Explain that under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free LPG gas connections are given to the people of BPL category. It is targeted to provide free LPG connections to about 8 crore families through this scheme.
The Ujjwala scheme is run in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of the Central Government. The government started the scheme on 1 May 2016 from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh.

However, now enough subsidy has also been given to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh by the government to start fish farming business. With the help of this subsidy, farmers can adopt this business.
For this, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh should have their own land. The government is providing a 50% subsidy for construction of ponds on this land. The farmers of all districts of Madhya Pradesh can avail this subsidy. However, small and marginal farmers of SC, ST, women category are given priority in this.
Explain that the total expenditure of the total fish farming unit is up to Rs 7 lakh. 50% of this entire expenditure will be received from the government in the form of subsidy and the remaining amount will have to be given by the beneficiary himself or from banks.
