Suitable varieties and characteristics of summer moong

  • Shakti Vardhak Virat: This improved seed variety of moong is giving tremendous yield. Plants of this variety are straight, strong and more spreading. Its beans are long and the grains are large. The number of grains in pods is 10 to 12, which are bright green. Apart from summer, this variety can be sown in Kharif also.

  • Shakti Vardhak SVM 88: This variety of moong also gives tremendous yield. Plants of this variety are straight, pods are elongated, and grains are small and bright green. It is a short duration variety that is suitable for both summer and Kharif sowing.

  • Awasthi Samrat PDM 139, Prasad Samrat PDM 139, X-lent PDM 139, Vinayak PDM 139: You can select these improved varieties for a good yield of Moong. This variety is suitable for sowing in both the summer and Kharif seasons. This variety of Moong is ready to give a good yield in 70 to 80 days.

These two cycles are Contino ETB 100 and Voltic 1.7, both of which are electric cycles. Contino ETB 100 e-bike is quite economical and gives better mileage as well. It charges only 6 paise per km. It can cover a distance of 60 km on a single charge.

The e-bike Voltic 1.7 is available in two colours – Gray and Red. It becomes the most competitive e-bike due to its powerful motor and massive lithium-ion battery. Its battery is fully charged in 3 hours and lasts for 25 to 28 kilometres.
