Farmers are getting bumper grant for farming and dairy operations
The Chhattisgarh government has attracted everyone’s attention with the success of Gauthan and Godhan. Moving forward in this direction, the government has also started preparations for the White Revolution. Under this, emphasis is being laid on cattle rearing in the state, so that milk production can be increased with the help of Gauthans.
Explain that the purpose of this scheme the government is to meet the shortage of milk in the state. In fact, there is a huge gap between the demand and supply of milk in Chhattisgarh. To bridge this gap, the state government is emphasizing the White Revolution. For this, the government has entrusted the responsibilities to the Livestock Development Department.
Under this, the subsidy is being given on the purchase of cows by farmers for dairy operation and rearing. Where 50% of the general category farmers and 66% of the scheduled category farmers are provided. At the same time, according to the government, self-employment will be encouraged through this scheme. Apart from this, milk production and productivity will increase.
