Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the farmers will soon get the eighth installment. The government will send this installment to the bank account of the farmers by the end of March. Significantly, the seventh installment of this scheme was released on 20 December 2020.
Under this scheme, three installments of Rs 6000 are issued to the farmers in a year. These installments are of 2000 rupees. If you are a beneficiary of this scheme and want to get the information that you will get this 8th installment or not, you can easily get information about it.
For this, visit the ‘Farmers Corner’ on PM’s website https://pmkisan.gov.in/. Click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option here. This will open a page where you can know whether the money came in your bank account through Aadhaar number, bank account number and mobile number.

The time has come to harvest rabi crops. Farmers are about to start wheat harvesting now. In view of the preparations for harvesting, the Madhya Pradesh government has also announced the dates for purchasing the produce. The government will start the procurement process from the 15th of March.
In this regard, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Mr. Kamal Patel said that “from March 15, there will be purchase of gram, mustard, lentils along with wheat and the limit of purchase has also been increased.” He further said that “With the introduction of wheat, gram, mustard and lentils, farmers will get more than the support price.

For the last few days, the weather has taken a turn in many areas of the country. Along with the rains, hailstorms have also been reported in many states including Madhya Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain in the coming 24 hours.
