The impact of cyclonic storm Tauktae is seen all over the country. Soon this storm will be more effective. The storm is moving ahead which has reduced rainfall activity over Lakshadweep and Kerala. However, heavy rains continue in the cities of coastal Karnataka. Due to the storm, the coastal cities of Goa and Maharashtra are expected to receive torrential rains and winds at stormy speed from May 16. The storm’s landfall will hit Gujarat from May 17 to 18 and may affect several other states of India including Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

To grow a good crop, the plant needs to be healthy. Therefore, the soil of the nursery should have sufficient organic matter.
If there is excess moisture in the nursery, there is a possibility of damping off disease.
First treat the soil and seeds of the nursery, then sow it.
Remove weeds and unwanted plants every week.

Pale yellow mottling starts at the base of the leaves and spreads upward along the midrib and outward along the veins.
Its deficiency can be controlled by spraying @150-200g/acre of chelated Iron.

No interest will be paid on depositing the crop loan till this date

For prevention of thrips fipronil 5% SC @ 400 ml/acre or lambda cyhalothrin 4.9% CS @ 200 ml/acre or fipronil 40% + imidacloprid 40% WG @ 40 gram/acre or Thiamethoxam 12.6% + lambda Cyhalothrin @ 9.5% ZC @ 80 ml / acre or Spinosad 45 % Sc @ 75 ml/acre.
As a biological treatment, spray Beauveria Bassiana @ 500 gram/acre.
